Welcome to my website.  Herein is a selection of paintings and art spanning a period of 40 plus years.  Years of “doing” in the hopes of capturing that elusive prize called “creativity.”  Art for me is a distinctive form of communication, at times expressing musings and sometimes deep emotion – but always compelling.   My painting style is quasi-surreal, photo-realism with oils, and more painterly with acrylics.  My subject matter is often personal with a jocular bent.  I’ve included thoughts on selected works to help the  viewer understand my artistic intent as well as motivation.  I look forward to new discoveries as I continue my quest for “creativity.”
